As I was tagged by the lovely :whitelyte:~
1. Post these rules
2. Each person tagged must post 8 random facts about themselves
3. Tags should write a journal/ blog of these facts
4. At the end of the post 8 more persons are tagged and named
5. Go to their page and leave a comment telling them they're tagged.
1. I own Patricia C. Wrede's Enchanted Forest Chronicles in at least five separate sets, just because the covers are different and I love those books so much.
2. I still routinely have the desire to buy action figures...XD <del>current want is He-Men and Teela</del>
3. I'm more likely to buy something I only kind of want over something I really want if I can get a good deal on it.
4. Conversely, every time I think I've gotten a really good deal on something, I'll inevitably find it for cheaper a week later.
5. I'm more likely to get emotional at an animated movie than a live-action one.
6. I've kept a 3x5 card since about 6th grade that I keep adding interesting names to, in hopes that I can one day use them in stories.
7. My left eye has a weird color mutation that makes about 1/3 of it a yellowish green instead of the normal blue.
8. I won't eat beans. Except Boston Baked and Jelly.

I'll just skip the tagging part. Do it if you feel like it. ^__^

I came by her series, pretty much, by chance. "Wild Magic" grabbed my attention, because of the terribly cliché reason that I was "into" horses and it looked like a good book. But I -think- I read The Song of the Lioness first. lol I'm not quite sure, it was 8 years ago.
And you're welcome ^^ Glad I could help.

Yes, I'll probably be picking up Trickster's Choice in the very near future. ^_^
I read the Song of the Lioness about four years ago (after hearing good things about it from fans of Patricia C. Wrede's "Enchanted Forest Chronicles" books) and have just recently read the second two quartets (after owning them for about two years...XD My book backlog is huge). And since I'm always curious, how did you come to be interested in these books?
And thanks for the info on the Circle series too!
The Circle of Magic series and it's sequels are a good read for any Tamora Pierce fan. They have more of a "magic" emphasis rather than a "medieval" spin. The basic premise is that four children are brought together because of their magical potential and follows their growth as mages and as members of society. lol I don't know how much you've checked into them, but if you like stories with more magic than war and battles, then you should definitely check these out. lol though I feel I should apologize as I'm not the best person to "sell" this series to you, as my personal preference is Tammy's Tortal realm.
However, I would highly suggest the 4th Tortall series, Trickster's Choice and Trickster's Queen. Besides the Immortal quartet, it's -very- popular with the fans
And if I may ask, what about these books sparked your interest?
